Verbeek Tiel has been active in the potato trade since 1929. A true family business from Tiel, now continued by the next generation.
Potatoes are our profession, and it shows. We know the soils where the best potatoes grow, we know what to look for during purchasing and storage, and we do everything possible to deliver that quality to our customers undamaged. Short lines of communication, down-to-earth agreements, and delivering what we promise.
Verbeek Tiel is a true family business. Founded in 1929 by S. Verbeek senior, it was later continued by his son Toon and is now run together with his three sons Stijnis, Wim, and Christiaan. Nearly a century of experience in the potato trade, passed down from father to son.
Besides bulk transport, we also carry potatoes in crates and on pallets. Our curtainsider trailers load easily from the side, so we can take several varieties in one trip.
For bulk loads we use belt trailers with fall breakers. The low drop height limits damage, which benefits the quality of the potatoes.
Since 1929. S. Verbeek senior founded the company, his son Toon continued it and today Toon runs it together with his sons Stijnis, Wim and Christiaan. Nearly a century of knowledge of the potato trade, passed down from father to son.
You can call any of us. Stijnis Verbeek is the point of contact for purchasing from growers. You will find all phone numbers on our contact page.
We combine trading and transport in one family business. We buy directly from the grower, assess every batch ourselves and drive our own fleet. That means short lines of communication and down-to-earth agreements. Read more about how we work.
